- Before bell ringing commences – dis-engage clock hammer.
- Pull and hook down control cable located on the south-east tower corner wall of ringing area.
Observations.
- Tower is at the south-west corner of the Church.
- Bells rung from tower base which is also the south entrance to the Church.
- Reasonable rope circle.
- No rope guides.
- Suggest bells are more suitable for experienced ringers.
- Bells have good tonal qualities.

The Earlier Bells.
- Prior to 1901, four bells existed at St. Nicholas’ Church and all were cast in 1656 by George I Oldfield of Nottingham.
